Juba, 29 April 2025-On 29 April 2025, we engaged with the local community in Northern Bahr El Ghazal state to raise awareness about the dangers of Gender-Based violenceย (GBV) against women. GBV remains a serious issue that affects not just individuals but also families and entire communities.
Our community sensitization initiative aimed to educate residents on the impact of GBV, challenge harmful cultural and social norms, and encourage behaviors that foster respect, dignity, and equality for all. By sharing knowledge and creating open dialogues, we hope to inspire lasting change.
We call on everyoneโcommunity members, leaders, and youthโto join us in speaking out against GBV. Let us support survivors, amplify their voices, and work together to build safe and inclusive spaces. Ending GBV starts with you and me.
